The Tenant Portal

Additionally, we provide a separate document containing only the tenant's comments and photographs, making it easy to review all the additions made by the tenant. Once the report is signed, Inventories 4 You will send the signed document to both the tenant and the landlord/letting agents, ensuring all parties have a copy of the final document.

The Tenant Portal is a huge benefit for landlords, letting agents, and tenants alike.

For tenants, it streamlines the process of viewing, amending, and signing the inventory, offering them the flexibility to check the report at their convenience.

It also saves time for landlords and letting agents, as tenant amendments can be made directly through the Tenant Portal, eliminating the need for lengthy back-and-forth communication.

Inventories 4 You is proud to offer a feature called the Tenant Portal- an online system that sends the lead tenant a link via email, allowing them to view their entire inventory report online.

This feature provides tenants with the convenience of easily adding comments and photographs to the inventory report, should they wish to do so. Tenants can also electronically sign the report, confirming that they are satisfied with its accuracy and that it reflects the condition of the property.

Having an inventory document signed by the tenant is essential, as it ensures that the tenant cannot dispute the report later.

From the moment the report is sent to the tenant, the link remains active for 7 days. During this time, if the report remains unsigned, up to 3 reminder emails will be sent to the tenant.

Our system generates a comprehensive audit trail, tracking the exact time and date the initial link and any reminder emails are delivered.

Any comments made by the tenant are seamlessly incorporated into the inventory report, making it easy to distinguish between the original comments made by Inventories 4 You and those added by the tenant. Importantly, the tenant's comments do not alter the original report.
